This video-performance reflects on the act of returning—not as resolution, but as compulsion, as a continuity. The poem turns over: the same moment again and again, testing how it might unfold differently—or not at all.
(I-V) was conceived as a poem and then translated into a soundscape with field recordings of a late evening, when the herb market opens its doors in Bogotá. Brujos, magas, esoteric presences often gather there; the space is divided between sweet and bitter herbs. This sonic atmosphere fuses with words that traverse across tongues, flavors merge in a bittersweet tension that reflects the impossibility of language, of mourning, of heartbreak—to be held by language. As in migration and the thought of an eternal return."
